Kartik Bijlani
Founder & Principal Architect
Blueprint
Kartik holds a Bachelor of Architecture and began his career with established practices, including Somaya and Kalappa Architects and Apurva Amin Architects, before founding his own studio, Kartik Bijlani & Associates, in Ahmedabad.
Sketches
Every project deserves its own identity. Rather than pursuing a recognisable signature style, Kartik believes architecture should emerge from its context, the client's aspirations, and the way people experience space.
Construction
With a strong understanding of design, construction, procurement and project execution, Kartik approaches architecture as a complete process rather than a series of isolated disciplines — bridging creativity with technical precision.
Completed Projects
Over the years, the studio has delivered more than 200 projects spanning over 6 million square feet — from Tagore Hall, a 35,000 sq. ft. cultural landmark, to The Emberlynn, a 4.3-lakh sq. ft. residential tower, to the DevX Commercial Building, a nearly 3.8-lakh sq. ft. corporate park.
Global Expansion
Since establishing the practice in 2011, he has led projects across India, the United States, Kenya, Ghana and the United Arab Emirates, working with private homeowners, developers and institutions.
Future Vision
Today, he leads a multidisciplinary team of architects, interior designers and technical specialists collaborating across continents — remaining closely involved in every significant commission as the practice continues to expand internationally.
“Architecture should not seek attention—it should earn admiration through the way it enriches everyday life.”
